If you have ever had neighbours with barking dogs consider participating in this poll.

You have a neighbour(s) with barking a barking dog(s). You decide to take the county/council/municipality/local gov't advice and ' just go have a talk with them about it '.

    Our neighbors dogs barked when they were let out when she got home from work. They only barked for about 10-15 minutes but it was rather irritating as it was constant.
    We politely went and told her that it was getting annoying and she was very appologetic, she didn't realize that we could hear them (they are only small dogs) and now when they bark she comes straight out and tells them to stop.

    Sometimes asking nicely works better than going straight to the council or animal control. If we had have just reported her for having noisy dogs she may have got angry or spiteful but we were very happy with the outcome and how we handled it.

    I had a neighbor with a barking dog. all means I used did not help (w wirte a letter, go over there, and actually call animal control). THEY finally moved.

    voted: nobody home - dog's mainly/only on the premises for security.

    Recently, a neighbor with 2 barkers moved out. Most people were pretty happy about that. They never really bothered me that much. Dogs bark, usually for a reason. As long as they stop soon after, thats just dogs.

    But then we have a dog and agonize when letting him out at 7am and he starts barking at a jogger.
