I am searching for a MMO, preferably RPG game to play with a friend of mine, but it's hard to decide, which of the following five should I pick.
The biggest issue is money - as I already figured out, if game offers in-game items for sale for real money, then that means that game lacks of them, and casual content have been configured so badly, so even purchasing all of the content won't help me to enjoy the game - it won't be worth it.
Even worse, when I need to pay monthly fees, fees for nothing, except removal of serious restrictions put on Free players.
Monthly fee + casual in-game content = frustrating gameplay = burning money for nothing as if I was mad. And nobody likes that.
But I can spare a little money, IF it's really worth it.
Currently the last one, Guild Wars, "seems" to be the perfect one - doesn't seem to require/force players to pay for "useless" in-game items, nor seems requires monthly fees at first look.. but idk, what's your opinion about those five?
