I have medium brown hair and want to dye it platinum blonde which is better make my own bleach or buy a couple boxes of a light blonde dye?

    If your hair is dark, it may have a brassy tone to it, I suggest buying the products from the store, do not make them yourself, you will damage your hair. You can also do the double blonde process, which is a technique that has two steps to it, that invovles lightening (decolorizing) the hair first, and then recolorizing the hair to the desired tone.
    1st Step, the lightener is applied 1/2" (1.25cm) away from the scalp out to the ends.

    tip: A Blue Based Color will eliminate unwanted Brassiness or orange tones.
