Is manufacturing in China good for other countries?

    I am in China now and can say it is a mixed bag as far as results...true, the quality suffers from products made here...but the cost of doing business in China can also be summed in the bureaucracy of the way China handles small, wholly owned foreign enterprises. Our company employees 120 workers and may soon have to leave due to how difficult it really is to operate here. Trust me...China will soon implode when it's average wages reach the point that doing business drives out foreign investment. They will never be able to transition into a consumer based economy within the next decade, and by then...India, Vietnam and a host of other more user-friendly nations will enjoy the boom as the Chinese go back to building walls (literally as well as figuratively)

    did not wish to vote. I think many products have flaws, due to the fact that everything gets produced as cheaply as possible.
