Recently I have fallen in love with perhaps one of the most beautiful girls i have ever met, We've been together 6 months on the 20th of September and we met when we were 15, I'm almost 16 and she turned 16 last month. I don't mean beautiful in looks, I mean personality and how she treats me.
Pushing that aside. She is my first love and i am hers. We sit and talk and are neither of us are outgoing. We barely went out with friends yet before we started dating and then started going out to see each other, despite being seriously self conscious. We talk of getting married and maybe getting jobs and saving up for our own place to escape the judgement of our families and other things.
I tell her a lot that i'm scared we won't last because first loves never do, Its just the thrill of being in love for the first time.
She tells me that every relationship is different and if i keep basing our relationship on others then it won't go anywhere because I will feel like living up to a standard.
Is it true, and what are your opinions?
We also live 2 hours apart, Not to mention we met on the internet. But we are pretty much now in each others company whenever we can
