• Actually, it was basically scholarly stuff. The main part was about the relationship between sexual identity and political agendas in scholarship. Why claims about virginity and morality were meaningless based on just how easily almost any woman could make them and much disagreement could be ruled hearsay. Why it was counterproductive for morality movements to focus on virginity because this creates the impression that after that point, women were lost souls and could do whatever they wished, that this approach alienates women who wish to follow more sexually conservative lifestyles and values in later life.

  I was actually very polite compared to a lot of people writing about anything controversial, who often tend to trash the opposition and disrespect others. I indicted no one who did not indict others. It would have been a nice experience no matter what the subject area. After all, when are people who aren't famous or or powerful asked to take time and explore any controversial opinions they might have instead of being asked to be quiet and listen?

• I would actually like to read your finished papers. It sounds like you built a credible base and then looked at different views. Like a good scientist should do. I'm proud of you, my friend.

• I might have some abstrscts, maybe an excerpt, maybe more. The computer death thing has still got me down. I'm going to need to get, at the least and probably first (hopefully), the grand list/index (sort of one; messed up from origins in iMac program and, as with years of Applelife and then transition to.rtf files). I'm hoping, hoping, hoping I'll need all the writing I can get. I'm going, hopefully, pitching and chatting shamelessly for hard-to-win editorial attention; oh well, that's not so lowly; take out the "editorial" and you've got some folks' weekends, after all!
