First i want to say I'm sooo sorry for your loss. I know it's difficult. I lost a grandmother recently to who I was very close. It's very difficult and hurts. The only thing I find that helps heal the scars, is time and being around family and loved ones.

For me it would be difficult to delete them entirely from my life. I'm not like that. It may be some have difficulties bringing it to words.
Sometimes they don't know what to say to comfort you.
Maybe some don't know about your circumstances and what happened.

Personally.. I would keep them...but don't give your hopes up with them if you know what I mean.
