Since you say he would be working for me, I'd notify the police and fire him as soon as I had made sure the information was true.

Crimes espescially abusive crimes must be reported. I would also fire the man, wouldn't want scum like that working for me.

Suspecting that you would need to conform to whatever the established procedure is for handling such things in your company.

- In New York, if you suspect child molestation, the law requires you to inform law enforcement officials - regardless of whether your company has a policy. The same goes for a private citizen acting outside the employment arena.
