I want a real relationship with him. he has a 16 yr old daughter that he doesn't want to leave. He has said that he would leave when she turns 18. that's in 2yrs. but he wants me to wait. Tell him how you feel. (Lonely and sad hes not with you)
If he has this excuse now he might come up with one later. If he is serious about getting a divorce and being with you then no matter the age of his daughter, he should know he could lose you if he waits that long and hes taking that risk and I don't think taking that risk shows he cares about you enough.
Hes doing more damage to the family by waiting and continuing to cheat with you.
Tell him you love him and waiting is just too painful.
