You're reading What would the highest paying job be for a young, pretty girl, who is currently a college student?

It has a lot to do with it. How many unattractive people do you see working as a pharmaceutical rep? Or flight attendants? Commercials on the TV? People want to have contact/communication with people who are attractive! I worked at Hooters for 2 years, so I'm used to letting people know that I can and do take care of myself physically. Sorry for sounding conceited, I know it does. But if I was an ugly, fat young girl trying to get a job with a good company they probably wouldn't hire me. Companies want people who look good, and have good communication skills to represent for them. Just letting people know that I'm not going to make your company look bad because I "don't know how to wash my hair" or can't put down the bag of Doritos. I work hard to look the way I do, and I'm proud of it too.
Yes, but you also have to remember that beauty isn't just skin deep. Hooters is paying for my college, and the company gave me great skills with dealing with customers, organization, and taking care of myself. I'm not the stupid blonde with big tits and botox smiley kind of attitude. I am very opinionated, and strong willed, and a very hard worker. If by putting "pretty, young girl" in that question made you think of me as some kind of dumb "bitchy" type then I'm sorry, you're not understanding what I meant to say, or I'm not able to write it in a way that you could comprehend what I mean.
If I had wanted you to answer that question with "STRIPPER" or "DANCER" then I would have made it one of the options on the damn poll!

As I said, if your ONLY qualifications are that you are young and pretty, your job options are limited.
Yes, being young and pretty opens all kinds of doors- but once you have the job, you need to have other skills to keep it.
One of those skills is intelligence- such as the intelligence to realize you put "other" as one of the options on the damn poll.
