I took some multi-variable calculus classes in college. I didn't do very well in them.

Calculus and precalculus should not be ranked together. Precalculus is just a review of algebra and trigonometry, albeit rigorous.

I haven't taken Calc since high school, so I've gone a bit fuzzy in the brain about formulas and the like. :S

In the University and in post grade courses:
Multidimensional, non Euclidean geometry. Tensorial calculus. Modeling (Related to the State Tensor proporsal, solutions and finite element analisys optimization procedures for real world applications).
As a brief explanation: The aplications of those studies are leaded to, aeronautical and naval engineering, continuus structures analysis, complex multirelated variable systems, such as our atmosphere, or stars models.

And .. I enjoy each minute invested on that stuff.

NOTE: Names sound lot more complex than the real thing. Hahaha.

i guess the last *just* math class i took was physics, which assumed calculus and linear algebra, which is apparently higher than calculus for some reason.
