A tiny hint is OK...but some of the chemicals they put in them are so obnoxious that they feel like they burn my nostrils and are quite sickly....I think the fragrance given of from a women neck is far more arousing.....
I hate it when you can follow the perfume trail of a women that has used it as a shampoo.....It's much more alluring when you have to search out where it comes from....:)

I don't hate it, but it can be very offensive.
when I teach or go to workshops any form of scent is "asked to not wear". it disturbs the
    energy of a group.
many a people have totally forgotten to appreciate our natural scents. I am not talking about not taking a shower, lol
Every person has a distict scent, and energy field....
we cover it up with smelly soaps and perfumes....holding I pads in front of us.... literally shutting self off from communication.

I don't hate perfume. There are some I like, but I find many of them cause headaches or even breathing problems so I'm leery of them now. Often if someone comes and sit close to me and they are wearing perfume or after shave I notice that I can't breathe or feel dizzy and I have to move. I've noticed more and more people are reacting like that nowadays. I don't know if we're more sensitive than before or if they are changing scents so they have more toxic or bad things in them.

IMHO, it's more of a like, but in subtle moderation. A little bit so that it's noticed when very close is one thing; it's another to leave a scented trail, cause others to sneeze, etc.
