You should only have your closest family come visit you after you deliver. The rest of the family can wait until the baby is slightly older (30 days). Just throw a BBQ or house party and have them come over.

I have 14 siblings, most of whom have husbands/wives/boyfriends/girlfriends and kids. I also have tons of aunties, uncles, cousins and then, of course, my friends. As a single mum to be, I want to keep all the "meet the baby" visits to one day, so I'm going to throw a party of sorts so that everyone can meet the baby at the same time, so that I don't have people over everyday visiting. When would be a good time? Having never had a baby before I dont know when I will feel up to it. I have 5 weeks left until I'm due so want to let everybody know what day it will be as soon as possible.
