Help answer this question below.

A good friend has asked us to contribute a large amount of money for a joint birthday gift for another person.

The person is a friend but we don't know him that well at all (unlike the person requesting the money). This is much more than we would normally spend on any birthday gift. Do we give them the money?

    Don't give him any money, that was rather rude of him to ask for such a large amount.
