- Well, hope you didn't get a ticket for that - on 2nd thought, a ticket, while a bummer, can really be a "wake up call" which encourages you to try not to, or simply never, do that thing you got cited for ever again!

I can'T drive.
my mom said you are not careful enough,before remind about brake, you will run over innocent animals/kids/old people,blah blah blah...she scared me.
one day I went to driving school,done papers,and when attempt to get test on road....I remember this words,I did tackle with corn,then get panic,I left that damn driving test and school on that day.
even I can't drive go-cart!! because of my mom I got trauma.

- yeah well I am 67...a smooth driver. looking out for the others, too, as they probably looked out for me. when I was going to university we used to "race" down the lower part of sunset blvd...which is curvy, 2 lanes... and we were idiots... doing this... crossing over to the other side.
  traffic wasn't as it is now. I had sportscars like triumph spitfire, jaguar xke, MGB, later more conservative camero or the trash piece mustang ( never again).
  now I am a solid subaru driver lololol. I can still drive perky when I am in a hurry.... lol, but I avoid doing that.

My friends think of me as a grandma driver. I follow the speed limit, keep a large amount of space between my car and the car in front of me and always pay attention to what's going on outside the vehicle. It's saved me from a lot of accidents and the cops leave me alone.

About the only time I'm actually driving a bit relaxed is when there are no other cars on the road.

My husband openly acknowledges the fact that I am the better driver of the two as well as the best in the family.

- My wife is a good driver, she has Never had an accident, and the one ticket she got was a "Warning ticket" for having a burned out tail light. It had just burned out that day, because I checked the lights on both cars the day before.

I've never had a moving violation accident. Thank God! The other three times my car was ever hit, it was parked and that was in the 1980's It's only by the grace of God it hasn't happened so far. Although, I did have an incident about 4 years ago when I actually dozed off two blocks from my home and jumped the curb, busting two tires and the rims (on the same side) and my husband had to come to the rescue. He still can't quite understand how I did so much damage. I was extremely lucky, because I was praying to make it off the expressway. I had the window down and the music blasting and talking to myself. For a year, I was scared to drive home from work if I left early unless I had some coffee and something to eat, just to keep me alert.

To safe I'm told by those I live with.I'm happy just to plod along and hate people driving to close.
We just returned from Crete and to drive there is just so scary.The roads are in a terrible state of repair,and to many people drive bumper to bumper going up or down such tiny winding valley roads.
