Can foreign residents from Canada serve on Condo Association Board of Directors?

    I don't think real estate people should be allowed to serve on the board of directots, even if they own a unit. They benefit from being on the board. That should be illegal. If they want to be on the baord that bad, they can participate as consultants. But have no authority on the board what-so-ever. We have militant condo board of directors and the head is a fat female real estate agent. Don't vote for them and you will feel their rath. Give condo living a bad name. They selectively apply rules to certain individuals and not to others. Arbitrary enforcement of rules. They don't don't follow the rules themselves.

    I do not see what difference it make as long as that person is a homeowner; always check your by laws in any case...
