You're reading How empty do you let your car gas tank get before you fill it?
Comments
You can make a good estimate by finding out the amount of reserve (how much gas is left when light comes on) and then multiply it by the mpg or L/100km (Miles per gallon or Liters per 100km). My previous car had a 10L reserve and it got roughly 10L/100km, so it was roughly about 100km I could travel after the light came on. Keep in mind though, it's just an estimate.
