what effect will wavelength of sound waves give if pitch is increased or lowered?

    Pitch is directly proportional to frequency and it's taken as the sensation of frequency.
    Frequency is inversely proportional to wavelength.

    So pitch is inversely proportional to wavelength.So with increase in pitch wavelength is lowered and with decrease in pitch it increases.
