    As Neodarwinian49 said, the mean distance is around 149,637,000, but its not constant.

    The Earths path around the Sun is an ellipse and not a circumference, and the sun is not at the center, but at one focus. Then distance changes along the year.
    Minimum distance (January 3th) 149,637,000 + 1,700,000
    Maximum distance (July 4th) 149,637,000 - 1,700,000

    And .... yes, we are closer during the North hemisphere winter.

    By the way, as everything rotates and moves, those distances and dates, also change along time.

    ~ 93,000,000 miles (1.609 kilometers/1 mile)

    = 149,637,000 kilometers

    93 million miles is just a fair estimate from memory
