    My husband's first name is the same as my Dad's. Why would that be weird .. it was kind of a special coincidence.

    I'd rather not, but I have had a crush on at least one guy who has the same first name as my Dad. It felt weird when we'd talk about certain things. I feel like if he had a different name, then maybe it wouldn't be so awkward.

    My sister has a common name but it is spelt a very rare way, maybe 1-1000 of girls with this name are spelt this way. Her mother in law spells her name exactly the same. As my sister took her husbands surname I'm sure it must be wierd for him.
