    I don't choose... I know that atom consist of a mixture of protons (which is made of 2 up quarks and 1 down quark), neutrons (made of 1 up quark and 2 down quarks) and electrons.

    And most of an atom is nothingness. If the nucleus of a hydrogen atom is the size of an tennis ball and you put it under the Eiffel tower, then the electron would barely grace the top of the tower. And all the room on between in nothing but nothingness.
