There's more burning in a bible, it burns for longer, the qur'an has a hotter flame though. Depends what sort of a fire you're looking for really.

It is different. Burning bibles doesn't set nations ablaze wanting to murder on a scale like the burning of the Quran does.

No cause your taking a text that is the basis of someones beliefs and is sacred to them and destroying it. So anyone who burns anykind of religious texts of someone elses faith that they dont agree with is wrong. Like christians bash my faith all the time cause im pagan, but i wouldnt be caught dead disrespecting them by doing something like burning a bible. I just dont feel it would be right. Nor would i do it to the text of any other religion.

There is no difference because the Qur'an is just as holy as the Bible, they may be different, but that doesnt give you the right to tarnish either of them

As a member of the AB located in the USA, it is fully legal to burn any book you want to burn including the bible and the qur'an. I have not direct knowledge of the legalities of other countries.
The Arab people are a very passionate and proud people. So when the muslim faith is mixed into the picture many US citizens don't understand this passion. I believe a few of these muslims have difficulty in communicating and find that violence is their way. They are brainwashed to believe that there way is the only way and that everyone else in the world is wrong.
It is so easy to brainwash a human brain, you would be amazed!

They both make a great campfire but if you're roasting pork hotdogs I think it would be inappropriate to burn the quran.

According to Bobby Ghosh of Time,Muslims believe the Bible is a book written by men; the Koran is directly the word of God, not written by man. It is transcribed, is directly the word of God.

According to Fearless Leader it is. Last year, the US Army, at the direction of Der Fuhrer, collected Bibles in Afghanistan and burned them because he didn't want to upset moslems.

The bible is a longer book, so everything else being equal (print type, thickness of pages...etc.) the bible will burn longer.

You'll be just as much of a moron burning either however. In that respect it is exactly the same.

The Bible is a book. Nothing more nothing less.

I am a Christian and I take the Bible very seriously. To me, it is indeed the Word of God. I would not let a Bible fall on the floor, let alone burn it. That is because I hold reverence and respect for God.

But, when it comes down to it, it is just a bunch of paper. If a person is at the state of mind to burn a Bible, that person already has a hatred of God. So burning a Bible would just be an outward expression of how the persons heart feels. Which God would already be aware, way before the person came to the point of desiring to burn God's Word.

why the heck would you think about that in the first place! why even considering burning a sacred book, i mean if your talking about time it'll burn just like any other paper but its not the time you should be considering its your conscience about burning something sacred.....
