    Hello U:

    That's not the right question. Best for YOU as a member, best fighting force, best toys to play with (aircraft carriers and such), best road to the top, best uniforms, best food... I could go on... So., I couldn't say what's BEST.

    For ME personally, I was in the Navy in the MIDDLE of war. I STILL slept in my warm bed every night and ate great food. I NEVER crawled in the dirt and never had to look an enemy in the eye before I shot him. I liked my war to be CLEAN and LONG DISTANCE..

    The downside, of course, is ships get sunk, and EVERYBODY gets wet, or worse.

    The best military organization in the world second only to the British Special Air Service (SAS) is the Navy Seals who are apart of the Navy so I say Navy.
