Is the bible the inspired word of God, and if so should we believe it or man?

    The Bible is the 100% true word of God, and as a result, we should be quicker to consult God's opinion rather than man's. If you think that man made up the Bible all by himself, here are some verses that say otherwise:

    "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."---2 Timothy 3:16-17

    "And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. "---2 Peter 1:19-21

    2 Timothy 3:16-17 'All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work'.

    Some of the bible stories -as elements of wisdom- are the intuitive thought of wise men; no supernatural source required.
    I think there is a real possibility that some of the bible material is stories made up by the early writers who wrote simply what they want people to believe or wrote what they thought COULD be true if a God did exist.
