There's no such place as Heaven.

Forget about heaven. It's not terribly likely there is such a place, state or whatever.

Live you life to the fullest. Live by your values. Enjoy. That's heaven.

"I want to go to heaven"

It might be better to postpone that idea, otherwise you seem rather suicidal.

The only way to get to heaven is through Christ (John3:16)

Not at all. But you might want to be with someone you would see in heaven.

marsha, I believe this is the kind of 'mixed' marriage God frowns upon....It will certainly cause hardship for you and your children. especially if he is like some and tries to draw you from God.....even mixed religions are not good and unstable.....but I have known some marriages to endure, because he/she did not interfere. You should also think of your children and how they will be raised and discuss this seriously before hand...but no individual can cause another to fall from Grace unless they allow it.....the best.

Whilst, the technical answer is No, that relationship will not keep you from heaven. It would be un-wise to have a non-christian for a husband.

Ultimately, your partner will steer the direction of the relationship away from God. You will be forced to make compromises, and will be constantly at odds with eachother, and you may find yourself walking away from the faith entierly. The most important aspect of any relationship paring is values, and your values are not compatible with those of your boyfriend. You are incompatible on a most basic level. And at the very end you will experience pain and anguish, when you realise that the man you love most dearly will not be there with you in heaven.

Instead, find a man (not a boy) who shares the same passions and desires that you do. Someone who is willing to steer the relationship in a direction that you are willing to go. As the analogy that Paul gives in reference to this issue is of two oxen being yoked together, and trying to walk in different directions. This frustrating image is a picture of what it is like to be married to someone who does not share your passion.

A wise saying I was once told: "The greatest failing of all young women is that they enter a relationship with a man, in the belief that they can change him... The greatest failing of all young men is entering a relationship with a woman, thinking she will stay the same."
