    Free to challenge, of course.

The minute I advocate the punishment of someone who challenges my faith means that it is only a matter of time before I will punished for practicing it.

I welcome their freedom to challenge what I believe in... so long as they aren't being a bigot about it, nor it coming from a place of ignorance or stereotyping. Basically I'm looking for a debate/discussion/dialogue, not someone simpy touting hatred.

Up till about 9 years ago, I tended to be very trusting when it came to accepting fairly much whatever I was told as an adult about Christian faith. Then something came up which caused me to question the whole Trinity doctrine thing - something which I could never understand anyway.

Once I no longer had any faith at all in it; I ultimately ceased to attend the church I was at. I tried others, pretty much with the same problem; or if they didn't believe in the Trinity, there were other beliefs I didn't accept. So then my walk with God became more one-on-one (with Him, I mean). "Preachers/pastors" etc will espouse whatever their denomination dictates/teaches. Doesn't make it true/truer; just means everyone in the denomination "tows the party line". It doesn't stop me from "following Christ"; just no longer a follower of Salvation Army/Anglican/Roman Catholic etc denominations.

I thank God all the time for the fact that I live in a time where the internet exists. Although its not perfect, and "finding" the truth in it can seem to be like trying to find the proverbial "needle in a haystack" - it still gives one a chance to find it - as long as you choose to embark on the "seeking" in the first place.

    Peace Truth and Love...:)

It is only by questioning that one comes to learn the truth. If a non-believer questions my faith, he or she has the opportunity to learn what I believe and see the truth in it. As a Christian questions certain aspects of his or her faith, they can use the answers to grow stronger. For example, why does scripture say this? And then, when asking a pastor about it, the believer learns what that scripture really means and is able to grow and build on that.

This helps to illustrate my point even more:

Well im muslim and i have christian and atheist friends too.. And i give them that freedom, cause my religions wants me to do that. We believe that our religion is a tolerant religion. And everyone can say anything bout it or question it. As long as they respect me for what i believe.
