    Yes, you are made of atoms. Yes, atoms are mostly empty space. But atoms have an outer shell or cloud of electrons. Electrons have a negative charge. Like charges repell each other. When the atoms of the wall and the atoms that make up you come close to each other the negative charge in the electons of the wall push against the negative charge in the electons of you. This is why you cannot pass through walls.
