I don't think so. That's one thing that sets AB apart from other similar sites ... encouraging unique questions.

No need to repeat the same questions over and over again. If someone wants to answer a question that's already been asked .. they can always do that. Questions continue to be accessible no matter how old they are.

It's more challenging to come up with new and different questions .. makes us be more creative.

The secret to not asking duplicates is to rely on your creativity and strike out on a different path from everyone else. If you want to ask 'what is your favorite color' well that's been asked and answered a jillion times. Also "how did you find Answerbag?' Also 'are you addicted to Answerbag'. Same stock questions people ask constantly through the years. Why not find your own niche and create your own footprints with your own special uniqueness? If you have a passion for something specific follow it and ask questions about it. If you want to just get points and ask questions for the multitude to answer you will ask duplicates or triplicates or quadruplicates. It isn't 'the more the better' it's 'the more creative/unique the better'. Just my opinion EN. I have answered the same questions tons of times over the years. I don't mind it at all personally. My favorite color never changes..blue/grey with silvery sparkles. I've answered that maybe a dozen times so far. But what I had for lunch does change. I've also answered that question a jillion times and it's always a different answer. I say if you want your questions to stay be creative and unique. Otherwise ask away! Happy Thursday EN! :)
