    Actually, I think the Answerbag today looks more like a commercial company website.

    I'm not really sure. Sure, it seems like people answer less... However, that could be a result of active users asking more and more questions as well.

    I can only speak to my experience. I have been here since 2005 and very active since 2007 so I was here "before" and "after". I have noticed that the quality of answers has improved dramatically. I get many more thoughtful, articulate, informative answers to my questions now than I used to. I attribute that to those who respond since my question have not changed in nature. I am the same person. My interests/concerns are the same. So the questions I ask are coming from the same source...me. As to quantity? I' m extremely busy trying to keep up. I ask questions, I answer questions, I comment and it's all I can do to respond in timely fashion. I don't always succeed. So I don't know if this answer meets with your approval since you seem to have a rather negative opinion about the site. I am very happy here. I think it has been vastly improved since 2009. Others including you I suppose will disagree. So what? Different strokes for different folks after all. Happy Thursday to you.
