Honestly I can't tell you the answer to this. To me, whenever I searched Wikipedia I didn't notice volume of traffic because the site is pretty consistent when it comes to loading time. The only way to judge traffic volume is when you notice a lag in the internet connection to the site. If it is consistent then I would suggest that the activity is even keel. If it is slow, then it means a higher volume of traffic, and if it is faster than usual, it most likely means less traffic. I don't know that Wikipedia activity depends on the day. It might depend on the day because of those who work. For example, work hours might be the busiest due to users researching things regarding their job, whereas weekends might be less. I can't say for certain but I can only speculate.
