I am 14 years old and completely depressed because of my sexuality (gay). I don't want to be a homo and need to change. Somebody help.

    Well let me tell you one thing; it will take a lot less energy to start to accept who you really are, than to fight your homosexuality.

    Think about this for a while. Why does being gay make you depressed? It's not because being gay is bad, it is because in this world there are still too many people who judge you for being gay. It is not you who is wrong, as there can be nothing wrong with the sexuality you are born with. What is wrong is the prejudgements people have.
    If you are the only cat in a environment full of dogs, are you to blame then that you have been born as a cat?

    People have been trying before you. And it is a fact that you can't change your sexuality. You can learn to live your life in a lie, you can pretent to be straight and choose a partner of the opposite sex. But I can assure you; this will never make you happy.
    So if happiness is what you want to find, you will have to learn to accept yourself and to love yourself.
    You are not the only one. On your age it may seem so, because, especially on school, many people are really afraid to show themselves. But in the future, you will find many more people you can level with. At 14, your life is only just beginning. And it will become a lot better than it is today.
    Don't worry, there is nothing wrong with you!

    I'd be more depressed about being too stupid to know what a poll is.

    I am 31 and am attracted to girls sometimes as young as 14. I do not want to feel that attraction but it is there regardless.

    grow some balls and stop allowing yourself to be depressed. if you are disgusted by the thought of homosexuality then be celebate... it is not impossible, I did it for 23 years before I met my ex wife and have been doing it for the 2 years since she left (was pretty close to celebate durring the marriage too). dispite what the gay and slutty communities want you to think (I did not say gays are all sluts, I specified 2 different communities) your sexuality need NOT be who you are. own yourself.

    young man, i admire and commend your courage to post something like this on this site. you mean well and you really want to get help. i presume you know that you are a man and you wanted to be a man in spite of your circumstance. whether you are attracted to the same sex or attracted to the addiction of pornography and sex is not really far from being different. it takes a man to say no to what is wrong and to say yes to what is right.

    grow up to be a man like Christ Jesus is. He is the man among all men better than Adam, James Bond, Superman, combined or every male who ever lived or will live combined.

    If you really don't wanna be gay pray about it. I know i sound like a religious freak but its true i have three cousins who felt the same and now 2 of them are happily married. Im 13 and think your hormones might fuck be screwed up i been turned on by girls and i think there hot but im far from gay so you just never know give it some time.
