My 10th gen great-grandfather was a founding deacon of Yale college in Saybrook, CT. Is it okay for me to wear a Yale sweatshirt?

    No, it doesn't matter what your fore fathers did.Those T-shirts are for the students, alumni and may be for other academicians who are directly related to the university.It's not a thing to display.So, just don't go for it.
    Only wear it in case you join the university.
