    Dogs don't miss their balls. We shouldn't worry about them either. It's just guys projecting their own fears onto dogs.

    I happen to like the look of a neutered dog, the balls just don't look right to me. Then again, I am a string spay/neuter advocate so maybe that's why. Also, don't do such things to your dog. Dogs don't know "suffer now to gain later". The live in the here and now. The pain you'd put them through for that is just inhumane. If you have the kinda money to invest like that, then PLEASE JUST DONATE IT TO A LOCAL RESCUE! Preferably no-kill, but something!

    I've already run across a beautiful Black Lab whose owners evidently have more money than God, so did this. The introduction of them caused EXTREME behavioral problems for this dog, that went beyond training issues. They are not PART OF the body, the body rejected them resulting in behaviors the dog had not been challenged with prior to this moronic introduction of a substance/mass that wasn't typical to the dog's body. Once the stupid humans agreed to have them removed, and did it, the dog reverted back to the friendly, happy, fellow he had been before such a dumb stunt was pulled on him. The dumbest idea ever in my book.
