My cat is doing the toilet in the house but is urinating in the litter tray. The cat spends alot of time outside and it has been very hot recently she is a medium haired cat. She is 11 years old and previously use the litter tray in this house.

I am getting a kitten tomorrow (about 9 weeks old). Ultimately I would like to have the litter box in the basement. Should I start with it in the basement, or is it better to have it upstairs at first and gradually move it downstairs?

I just adopted an 8 year old cat today, and it hasn't used its litterbox at all yet. I put him in there a couple times but he never went. Do you think it went poop and pee somewhere else in my house? I wouldn't be mad, but I'd want to clean it ASAP.

"Sully" the kitten poops outside the litter box. Never in the same spot (so it is hard to do the food trick) but it is always on carpet (usually in a corner). She sits and kneads her claws in the carpet for a minute, walks in circles and poops. HELP?

I have 2 cats. They are litter trained. (have been for years) but all of a sudden they are weeing everywhere else. 1 of my cats has been toilet trained (uses the actual toilet) and she wees on piles of clothes ect. my other cat wees next to litter. why?

We have 3 kittens and 3 litter boxes. 2 kittens are no problem. But the third, the oldest (4+ mos), a male, seems normal except for one thing: His has soupy feces and poops on the porcelain in the bathtub, avoiding the litter box in the tub. Help!

My child, Scruffles, won't stop arguing with me! I tell him to go outside, and he stares at me with vacant eyes, I tell him to relieve himself in the litterbox, and he goes wherever he pleases. Should I take Scruffles to the vet?
