I changed to AMSOIL XL7500 5W-30 on Sunday in my 97 Toyota 4Runner. First time with Synthetic. Used AMSOIL Engine Flush before the change. Started hearing a quick(1 sec) high pitch squeal(Tuesday) when I start the vehicle in the mornings.

I have a 87 toyota 4runner 2.4l 22r-e. i replaced the head gasket on it. i set the timing at crank tdc,cam 12 0'clock and d to spark on #12 plug wire. im getting fire to the spark plugs. all the hoses r right. i can smell gas when i turn it over.

I have a 1995 4Runner 2wd 3.0 ltr, Every time I haul my boat, small boat, the engine overheats. I have replaced the thermostat, flushed the radiator, changed the radiator cap and chaned the oil. What else could be making it overheat?

1995 Toyota 4Runner: Instrument Panel Lights are off. No Fuse issue, and all the instruments function properly. The dial for the Brightness of the Instrument Panel has no effect on this - it's all dark.

Have 4 wheel drive...just bought 2 new tires that are on the rear....front tires are 2 yrs old.. just heard yesterday that if you use 4 wheel drive you need to have all 4 tires the same or it will ruin your transmission if you use 4 wheel drive....true?

I own a 87 Toyota 4-runner 22R-E with 106K miles. Whenever i start driving the engine vibrates a lot. The vibrations correspond to the rpm s and usually goes away after the engine warms up. Everything looks fine under the hood. Any suggestion

I have a 87 4Runner 22-RE and my horn no longer works. Checked fuses and the horn button itself (in the steering wheel) and still nothing. Hazards ,which are on the same fuse, still work. Thanks for any suggestions you send my way.

My 87 4-runner 22R-E with 106K miles. Great shape except a slight oil leak, not much but enough to annoy me. Anyone know of common oil leaks on this model ? It would be a lot of help because after 21 years its hard to tell whats new grime. Thanks.
