Im most likely buyin an impreza very soon, i do plan on adding some aftermarket bolt ons and suspention etc. im thinking 01-03 year range and the wrx is harder to find. Is it worth going with the 2.5 liter or can i get a good amount of power out of the2.0

I have a 2006 Subaru Impreza. Dealer said It my be my fault because the engine bearing has damage. Car still has 3yr/36000 warnty. Located one receipt. Dealer is taking engine apart this week to check for oil sludge. Please advise on anything I can do?
