I was in West Africa, where i started to run and i got up to 3 miles. Then i was in Tenerife, where it is cooler and less humidity. i am back in West Africa. Is this why i can hardly run and my chest hurts again like when i first started?

Is it only me..but i run regularly and yet the start of my run can be sheer hell..i breath harder i feel the legs more.i sometimes struggle to the 4km..but then i run onto 10 or 15 km comfortably.Shouldnt the first part of the run be the easiest part?
