The game starts,the memory screen cheeks and then just there it stops in that screen and doesnt load anymore.

I bought a 32 MB memory card for my ps2 and it loads the games just fine onto it, but once i try and save anything it says there's insuficient free space on the memory card. the game requires 90kb of free space. any ideas or suggestions?
