What I want to know is why spanish speaking people (those in the American continents, not Spain proper) are referred to as being "Latino" (the Spanish "Latin") or coming from "Latin America" when Latin is the basis for all romance languages.

Why do people sak "LIKE". Example- i was going to "like" cut my hair, then "like" decided not to!.. I occasionaly say like too, but where did it come from its so annoying and over used for everything and almost everyone.
