?Paxillus panuoides? Bright Orange fleshy smooth cool to the touch. Gilled-orange also. shelf like groups on oak grew after the tree fell. No odor dried. have seen for ten days upstate NY. November 15 2008. Go Mushrooms!

I have 2 types of mushrooms growing in a clump on the ground by a small tree. The 1st kind is a bolete- large, brown on top, slimy, yellow spongy underside. 2nd is i believe a large brown chantrelle with big brown gills. What kind & R they safe 2 eat?
