In 1947, the Church published *Truth Restored*, by Gordon B. Hinckley. The chapter on the Book of Mormon ends with: "A remnant of the Lamanite nation is found today among the American Indians." Does this sound like all "Indians" are of Lamanite descent?

Black Mormons Darius Gray and Margaret Young have documented how the Priesthood ban was based on nothing but innuendo, folklore, and prejudice. Why doesn't the LDS Church admit this, apologize, and posthumorously endow all past worthy LDS black men?
