I am repairing damage caused to the finish of my dresser from a chemical drip. It is a tiny spot smaller than a dime. I am currently applying stain to cover it. What do I finish it with? I do not know if the finish is varnish or shellac.

How can I remove the drawers on an old two drawer metal file cabinet? I built it in to a computer desk and now have to get the drawers out to attach the top. I bought it at Walmart in 2001. There is no Mfg ID for info or tabs to release the runners.

I'm trying to make a coffee table. How can I attach wood blocks to a large square peice of fiberglass. The fiberglass came from a table set (as the top), so it is quite heavy. Can I drill through it to screw it, glue it or just set it on top of the wood?

I have a Cushman Original Antique Wood Table # 0108 with a shelf that is appx 1/2" thick x 18" w x26" L that is splitting in half lengthwise, Can I fix it? or How do I stop the shelf from splitting all the way in half and still have an original antique?
