All I have to say is that I hope these bills are put down because, while I am quite capable of living like I did before the internet, I would not like it.
Now I know how limited and biased the news media available just in this nation really is. I would miss a lot about the internet but being confined to non internet news media scares the crap out of me. I also have no doubt that what news media we could access online would be strictly regulated so it would be no better than non online news media.

Tol Ari...the heat was too much for the politcos. They all backed down and the bills have been tabled for the forseeable future. These guys had no idea what they were doing. The ones that backed it initially got scared and withdrew support. Nothing is as strong as the people banding together in a common cause and speaking out. Nothing! Happy Saturday! :)
