Graphics Tablet

  • Step 1:
    Get a basic understanding of what your graphics tablet is capable of. Each graphics tablet differs in various ways. Some are small, while others are large. Some may connect to your computer, while others may have laser technology. Once you know what your graphics tablet can do, you can utilize every valuable feature on it.
  • Step 2:
    Set up your graphics tablet. Insert the disk into your computer and follow the steps for installation. Connect the graphics tablet to your computer and open your drawing program.
  • Step 3:
    Adjust the settings for your graphics tablet. A few adjustments may have to be made depending on the type of project you are working on. Refer to your graphics tablet's manual to find more information about it's specific features.
  • Step 4:
    Create drawings and sketches with a stylus tool. A stylus tool is a pen-like tool that is used to draw on the graphics tablet. Consequently, the drawing will reflect on your computer. There are also other tools you may use to draw with a graphics tablet. One is called a graphics mouse. A graphics mouse works as a regular computer mouse does, with additional settings you can use to fit your needs.
  • Step 5:
    Shade or color the sketch using the stylus tool. Save your masterpiece on your computer. Overall, the graphics tablet can help you to create more accurate drawings on your computer. With the graphics tablet, the ultimate power is in your hands. Now you decide how you want to use it.
