Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Mobile phone
  • Messenger account
  • Phone service
  • Step 1:
    Use your phone's browser to go to mobile Ebuddy service (see Resources).
  • Step 2:
    Choose the network you want, and log in using your ID and password for that network.
  • Step 3:
    Make sure you have xHTML or WAP 2.0 enabled browser on your phone to use MSN, Yahoo! or AOL through Ebuddy.
  • Step 4:
    Browse your instant messages through your phone.
  • Step 5:
    Log into any of the supported Ebuddy networks you want, all at one time. Use Ebuddy's contact list to see all your buddies at one time.
  • Step 6:
    Send instant messages to any contacts in your groups.
  • Step 7:
    Display emoticons in the same way you do using your computer. Select "Setup" in the main Ebuddy window and choose "Set Emoticon On."

Tips & Warnings

  • The download Mobile Messenger package works with most cell phones world-wide. If you can't get it to work on your phone try using the Lite Messenger version direct from Ebuddy's website.
  • Download Mobile Messenger package if it works with your phone. There are many extra features including group chat and sound.
