Instructions

  • Step 1:
    Locate your TV's user manual. Find the index in the front or back and identify the page number corresponding to the part of your TV that is having a problem. Be sure to check the index for a troubleshooting or "common errors" section.
  • Step 2:
    Check your current settings against the recommended settings inside your user manual. Change settings to troubleshoot the problem; experiment using troubleshooting steps from your manual to identify the optimal settings and solution for your particular error. Note which steps you take or settings you change, in order to relay them to a customer service professional later if needed.
  • Step 3:
    Call, email or troubleshoot with customer support using the customer support website, located in the references section. Select "Get Service" or "Manuals" to view the most current information on troubleshooting your unit at home, from within the page for the LC-26SH20U model. Select "Click Here" from the information on the bottom of the screen to submit a troubleshooting request. Call the number listed at the bottom of the screen to reach the customer service help line and for personalized troubleshooting.
