How to Tell What Version of Internet Explorer You Have

Instructions

  • Step 1:
    Open Internet Explorer.
  • Step 2:
    Click on the "Help" option at the top of Internet Explorer. A drop box will open.
  • Step 3:
    Select "About Internet Explorer." A window will open.
  • Step 4:
    Read the numbers next to the "Version" header in the window. This will tell you the exact version of Internet Explorer that is currently running on your computer.
