How to Play Riddle of the Sphinx

Instructions

  • Step 1:
    Move from area to area using the directional keys. Your character will walk through caverns and crawl through tunnels using basic movement commands throughout the game.
  • Step 2:
    Click on objects to reveal clues or hidden riddles. Many areas in Riddle of the Sphinx are blocked and sealed with a riddle such as a memory game or directional puzzle. These can be located by clicking on the object itself.
  • Step 3:
    Read the instructions on each riddle carefully. Every riddle has a different set of rules and objectives that are required to reveal their secrets.
  • Step 4:
    Solve the riddles through the use of the keyboard and mouse. Some require simply choosing or typing a correct response. Others will require using the mouse and keyboard to turn, move, or perform other actions with objects.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep a notepad handy to write down clues that are revealed. Many clues will help in later riddles.
