Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • White bar soap (unscented)
  • Cheese grater
  • Measuring cup
  • Microwave
  • Spoon
  • Sage
  • Green soap coloring
  • Soap mold
  • Step 1:
    Grate your bar soap.
  • Step 2:
Scoop the soap shavings into your measuring cup and place in the microwave.
  • Step 3:
Microwave on high for 30 seconds. If the soap is not fully melted, microwave in 15 second increments until melted.
  • Step 4:
Stir the melted soap with your spoon.
  • Step 5:
Add your sage directly to the melted soap and stir well. Use as much sage as you like--the more you use, the stronger the smell.
  • Step 6:
Add a few drops of green soap coloring and stir well.
  • Step 7:
Pour the soap into the mold and allow to cool for several hours. Pop the soap out of the mold once it is completely cooled. Enjoy.
