How to Join the Cardiology Society of India

Instructions

  • Step 1:
    Access the Society’s webpage (see Resources) and download a copy of the membership application.
  • Step 2:
    Fill in the following information: Evidence of university degrees; appointments at medical or related institutions including percentage of work in cardiology; lists of training courses in cardiology; memberships in other societies; details of publications and other research work.
  • Step 3:
    Obtain letters of sponsorship from two individuals. The membership form does not list a sponsor's qualifications, but presumably current members of the Society would be preferred. The sponsors must also sign the application form.
  • Step 4:
    Purchase a Demand Draft or International Money Order payable as specified in the application in the amount of 3,000 rupees for ordinary membership or 7,000 rupees for life membership.
  • Step 5:
    Mail four copies of the form and all materials, including the dues, to: Hon. General Secretary, Cardiological Society of India, Indian Heart House, P-60, C.I.T. Road, Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054, India.
